Recovery

SunHawk Adolescent Recovery Center is one of only a few long-term drug rehab centers for teens struggling with substance abuse issues. Our comprehensive treatment program is designed to help adolescents who are dealing primarily with substance abuse, but also may be experiencing co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, impulse control, family conflict, grief, or stress.

The Twelve Step philosophy is the foundation of our treatment program due to its proven effectiveness, as well as its wide availability as a support system after students complete our program.

To assist in the recovery process, SunHawk provides:

• Daily AA/NA meetings
• 28 hours of 12 Step group work each week
• Intensive relapse prevention work
• Character Education groups (addressing topics such as anger management, grief and loss, leadership, and spirituality)
• Life Skills groups (addressing stress management, coping skills, budgeting, and more)
